Jon-Kabat-Zinn is an American doctor who since the 70s studied stress and mindfulness. One of Shorinji Kempos most important principles is about living each moment fully – just the same as it is often called mindfulness. Learn more about how to create room to maneuver between thoughts and feelings, and the aspect of ourselves that are experiencing thoughts and feelings. This is obviously useful in practice and what we do during chinkon, but on an even deeper level, something that can enrich our lives and help us live more in accordance with our values.
